Skier Dies After A Fall Off-Piste in Val D’Isere

A 59 year old British man from the Isle of Man died late yesterday (Thursday 23rd February) afternoon in Val D’Isere after a serious accident while skiing.

He had been skiing off-piste in the Solaise area, and suffered multiple injuries after a fall. The pisteurs and the emergency (SMUR) doctor came to his aid. The man suffered a heart attack in the helicopter while being transported to Grenoble hospital and was pronounced dead on arrival.
