Val d’Isere Snow Sculptures

Val d’sere’s famous snow sculptures are particularly impressive this year, so if you’ve not had chance to see them yet we thought we’d share these great pictures taken by YSE Ski.

To make them, first the snow is packed into a case and then the outline is drawn on the snow. The creations are carved out with a chainsaw and finished off with a handsaw by five talented sculptors.
