Ski Pass Prices Winter 2016: Tignes – Val d’Isere, Paradiski & New Superpass!

Lift pass prices for the Winter 2016 season have now been released for Espace Killy (Tignes – Val d’Isere) and Paradiski (Les Arcs, La Plagne & Peisey Vallandry) – and there’s a wild card in there!

The Alpine Legends Superpass gives you access to all 3 huge Tarentaise ski areas – Espace Killy, Paradiski and the 3 Valleys, for just €50-70 more than the six-day passes for a single area!

That’s 5 glaciers, 1300 runs, 6 days for €340.

Previous unlimited passes to Espace Killy and Paradiski gave you a day in each of the other Tarentaise ski resorts free. It looks like the Superpass replaces this bonus – giving you more flexibility but at an increased price. Most people who come for a week’s holiday will need the full week to really explore just the ski area they arrive in. The Superpass caters for the regular hardcore skiers who want to tour the whole Tarentaise – staying a couple of days in each ski area.

We don’t have much more information than that because the Alpine Legends website is not live yet.

UPDATE December 2015: The Superpass launch has been delayed to Winter 2016/17.

So if you want to make a plan to take full advantage of this offer, and ski til your legs drop off to discover all these resorts, how best to do it? Most accommodation providers only offer full-week deals, Saturday to Saturday. But you don’t want to be driving from Tignes to Courchevel and back in a day, with a full 8 hours ski in between.

One option is to stay in a more central location in the valley around Bourg Saint Maurice, rather than in any one resort. There are some great cheap deals to be had down there. For example, stay at caravan and campsite L’Eden de la Vanoise. A campsite in winter may not sound enticing, but wait – this one has a heated covered swimming pool open all winter! The mobile homes are roomier than most studio apartments in resorts, all with wifi, and the lovely owners will even pick you up from the nearby train station if you’re not driving. You can stay for just 2 nights, any nights of the week, from €130 for a six-person cabin. That’s just €10 per night each! You’ll find other campsites offering similar deals around the area.

But if you’re happy to stick with just the one ski area, here are the prices for Winter 2016 in Espace Killy and Paradiski:
