Tignes Val d’Isere Snow Report & Weather Forecast – 13.12.15

Meteo Mike Snow Reports Tignes Val d'IsereBy Meteo Mike

Just a veil of cloud over the Espace Killy this morning which took the warmth out of the sun that was just visible, but this mostly cleared by mid-afternoon and we are currently enjoying a fabulous sunset. We skied around the Bellvarde this morning and the condition of the snow was good. The slopes are not as hard as in recent days thanks to the work of the snow cannons.  The afternoon was spent on the Grande Motte where the snow was excellent. Also it was the first time that I have seen the the anemometer on the top of the Leisses chair absolutely still.

Tomorrow will be sunny and warm all day. Tuesday and Wednesday will be made up of sunny periods and perhaps a little more breeze – the front now seems to be passing to the north – there may be a chance of a few flakes on Wednesday evening and then a return to a mix of cloud and sun, with again, perhaps, a light snow shower on Friday – but the confidence on that forecast is only medium.
